Game 68: Family matters.
There will be no write-up for the game tonight, I wasn't able to watch the game due to extenuating circumstances. Namely, my father having a tumor removed from his kidney. We just got back from the hospital not more than 10 minutes ago and I'm too drained physically and emotionally to even watch over the highlights of another loss (to the Nats, no less) and write anything up. I hope you'll forgive me. Go Yanks.

hope everything is ok

I'll keep you dad in my prayers. Hang in there - there are things far more important then baseball.

I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear about this recent family issue, Beth. I will certainly keep your father, you, and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope all is well, and that your father experiences a speedy recovery. Clearly, some things like baseball are secondary.

Thanks to all of you, I appreciate the kind words and thoughts. My dad is doing better and we're all very grateful for that. Thank God this was small and contained and (hopefully) no longer an issue.
