Yanks and Phils kiss their sisters.

Wow.....a tie.  How positively All-Star like.  And boring.  But most ST games are boring, it just comes with the territory.  All in all, it was a pretty good game.  It was great to see Andy do well, especially after all that has gone down during the off-season.  It seemed to not have affected him on the field....so far.  Who knows what'll happen when he gets in front of the Fenway Fleeced.  I doubt they'll go easy on him, not that I expect them to.  He screwed up, he has to answer for it.  I only hope those fans realize that they too had players who used steroids, they just weren't outed.  Let he who is without sin, cast the first boo.  In any event, as I said it was a good game.  Seeing as it was a ST game, the pitching line looked like a classic, Torre-managed game:  8 pitchers used and some of them only went for an inning or so.  I kid, I kid.  I miss Joe.  We got a little bit from everyone, and Farnsworth only gave up 2 hits and a run this time.  So that's baby steps for him.  We don't want to ask for too much, too soon you know?

On the offensive side of things, Jason Giambi had a great game.  3-run HR, a double and 4 RBI.  Bobby Abreu went 2-3 and the newbie, Jason Lane, went 2-3 as well.  It's good to see the kids getting involved and doing well; doing well now could be the difference between staying in the minors and maybe playing a couple of games with the big kids later in the season.  Great game all around from the guys this afternoon.  :-D

I know the pictures are tiny, but they're the best I can do for right now, so I apologize in advance.   It's good to be making these things again.....it means the season is right around the corner.
