New MLBlogs site

What does everyone think of this?  I'm not too fond of it myself, and I'm hoping that changes because everyone behind the scenes put a lot of work into moving all these sites to this new hosting program and their work should be rewarded.  But all my link lists are gone and I don't know how to get them back.  I'm not familiar with this software at all.  The season is starting TOMORROW (yay!!!) and I just figured out how to post images so I can do my Stars of the Game.  Geez Louise.

Right now I'm not a fan of this new set up. I've figured out how to post and that's about it. I see that some of your links are showing. I can't even get that to happen. Did you do anything special or did it just happen? What I find to be a big hassle is having to approve comments (even your own) and that's there no spell check on entries. None that I can find anyway.

Hopefully they get things worked out. It'd be nice if on Opening Day things are somewhat close to the way they were.

I saw your comment on MLBlogs.MLBlogs.com....

Two tips:
1) Your links should all still be there even if they do not appear on your blogs. If there is HTML code in any of the links, the system doesn't seem to want to display any of the lists. What I did was copy all of the links to an excel spreadsheet for when the link lists are more like they used to be (hopefully). I then deleted each list and created them from scratch, which really only took about 10 minutes because I had them all in excel. After I was done with the 'new' link lists, I saved them and they did not appear.... until I changed templates.

I really tweaked my old links with HTML, including pictures for links, etc, so I hope that ability comes back soon!

2) To get your ranking and page count code to work... go to the dashboard... click on Preferences, Edit Profile. On the Edit Profile screen, paste the HTML code into the Description box after your description. The HTML code works there but not in the Link Lists. I placed an Adsense banner and my tracking code there... go to http://mybrewers.mlblogs.com if you want to see how that looks.

Hope that helps!!

Looks like you figures out the HTML thing at the top... either you did that while I was typing the comment or I am blind!

I couldn't find your site on the home page. I had to google you. I am not a big fan, but hopefully they make adjustments.

Those were already there when the site switched over. I thank you for your suggestions about putting my counter and ranking in my description.....that appears to be the only place they'll work. That was literally a life-saver.
