Stuff a sock in it, Hank. (pun not intended)

Hank doing what Hank does best -- running his mouth, not the team

This quote came from a Yahoo article on the same subject:  "Asked how bad fans in Boston might react to Andy Pettitte, Steinbrennersaid, "I don't think they would want to be hollering too loud at Andy up in Fenway. They had plenty of players doing this stuff, too. It's just that those players weren't mentioned in the Mitchell Report."

Asked about the comments, Lucchino responded in an e-mail, "It serves no purpose at this point to comment on Senator Mitchell's Report and his major contributions to Baseball, or on Mr. Steinbrenner's gratuitous and reckless accusations. So, no comment.""

You know Hank......considering how much **** we've suffered this off-season because of the Mitchell Report and other steroid allegations, perhaps it would be best that you don't start throwing around accusations.  I agree with him insofar as all teams have had steroid problems, not just the Yankees, but there's no proof that any Red Sox players juiced.  Notice I said no proof.  Doesn't mean they didn't, just means we can't prove it.  So until that day comes, maybe Blabbermouth needs to keep his pie hole shut and only open it to discuss the Yankees and the day-to-day operations of this team.  I'm really starting to tire of him.  At this rate, it's going to be a long season.

Beth,
No one on the Red Sox has ever used performance enhancing drugs!

In the event that you're trying to be serious, I don't believe you. I don't believe any team was devoid of this garbage.

Now, if you're trying to be funny.....I can't imagine Yankees fans getting away with that prior to all this coming out.
