I'm through with the both of them.
Roger Clemens can go screw as far as I'm concerned. Listening to this hearing......ugh. Any last minute shred of doubt I had about Roger just flew out the **** window. McNamee is scuzzier than a bucket of pond ****, but Clemens is no better. And he should be. Roger says he didn't know his best friend and wife were using HGH, but somehow Brian McNamee did know. Right. Okay. I really wanted to believe him. Even though I think the Mitchell Report is biased beyond belief and not worth the paper it's printed on, I didn't want it to be right. A part of me honestly believed they went after him because he's Roger Clemens, not because he was guilty. Well, no more. He and Pete Rose and Barry Bonds can commiserate together about how they're not in the HOF when it's all said and done and maybe baseball can finally put this embarrassing episode behind it. And while I'm throwing out the vitriol, and extra-special helping goes to Bud Selig for being blind and deaf and acting like what was clearly going on -- wasn't. I find him as much to blame for this mess as the players who were involved in it. Add to this what John Rocker said (and take it with a grain of salt, look who's talking) about how MLB and the Player's Union encouraged him to take steroids. If this is true, it shows even more complicity in this matter as far as Selig is concerned. How could he NOT know about what was going on?

To sum up: Eff you Roger, eff you McNamee and eff you MLB for letting this sorry, sordid mess go on as long as it did.

My sentiments exactly. I felt like I needed a shower.
Glad to see someone noticed the John Rocker statement, which was far more significant, at least from the point of view of Congressional involvement, than the Clemens nonsense. If anything good came out of today, it can only be that Congress must realize baseball's new leaf is a fig leaf.

I'm tired of the whole mess. Pitchers took PED's hitters took PED's...hum sounds like a zero sum game in the end. MLB was complicit as was the union and the owners. The last two guy's we need in front of Congress is these two idiots. Also let's not forget that the main player/dealer in all of this, a certain former clubhouse attendant got probation!!! That really sends a message to the youth of America. Sorry for the rant but the lack of baseball over the winter, and this whole roids mess is enough to drive a fan to drink. The good news is that P&C report!!!! Yeah! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

The whole thing about who used what drugs is NOT a congresional Issue. Congress is just looking for some thing to do. Why don't they end this F***ing War and save our troops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You may not like what it says, but has anything yet been proven untrue?
