Red Sox Nation was created for the purpose of fleecing those fans from their hard-earned bucks. That is the ONLY reason. Red Sox management should be ashamed of themselves for that ****. The fans Pay for membership, products, everything that is involved. It is a Joke!

I have never liked the term "Red Sox Nation." I actually wrote one of my early blogs about it. However, the Red Sox have a very wide fanbase, and Steinbrenner is inaccurate telling everyone to "go anywhere in America and you wont see Red Sox hats and jackets." He should have thought about that before he said it, or he should have done some research.

it's not just in this country that you'll see the famous yankee NY. last year i was in cairo, egypt and was pleasantly surprised to see the native egyptians were wearing a yankees cap! =)
