Pete Rose needs to learn what "irony" is.

Rose: Steroid users are making a mockery of baseball

And who better than you would know that, huh Pete?  I mean, seeing as how you are a paragon of dignity and professionalism.  Oh wait.....you're never going to be in the HOF because you got banned for life from baseball for betting on games, including games your own team (that you managed) were playing in.  Hmmm, how about that.  So steroids are making a mockery of the game, but your exploits and your continued whining about wanting to be in the HOF are not?  Interesting deduction.  Why don't you go back and sleep in the bed you made and hope some commish somewhere down the road takes pity on you.  Until then, be quiet.

I'm just starting a new blog.

Check it out if you've got some time and let me know if you'd want to exchange links.

All of the players commenting on the "Yankees" Steroid usage should back off, just a little and take a look at all the others named in the Mitchel report.
Mr. Schilling might also want to check out some of his "super team mates". Maybe some were lucky enough to have connections who didn't talk. There's an old saying..."Don't spit in the wind...it may come back to hit you in the face.

Roger Clemens is a good man. A dedicated baseball professional. He supported his team playes...he did not bet against them, as Mr. Rose did.

what do you think of the yankees posibly going after prior? I think if the yankees could get a low risk ensentive based contract it might be a good move.

Brilliant commentary, Beth. I saw this on the news from Rosebud and laughed my head off, so I'm glad you commented on it. What a sad, stupid spectacle Rose is. Comments like these render him as dumb as a bag of hammers. He has about as much right to comment on what is degrading the game of baseball as Dr. Ruth has performing open heart surgery.

If Ol' Pete read your post, he'd have his tail between his legs.
