No way in **** anyone signs him now.  He's been indicted on perjury and obstruction of justice charges.  Ask me if I feel one iota of sympathy for this swollen-headed buffoon.  What did Jim Morrison say?  "This is the end, beautiful friend...this is the end."  I wonder if Leavenworth has a baseball team.

EDIT:  ESPN has just released a statement from the Grand Jury stating that positive steroid tests were found.  POSITIVE STEROID TESTS.  That should be that for ol' Barroids.  Buster Olney said he'd vote for Bonds to get into the HOF.....I'm sure he appreciates your vote, Buster.  It may be the only one he gets.  I would love to see Bud Selig make some kind of statement about this.  I don't know what I expect him to say, but something from the Commissioner's Office would be nice.

Well, I have a feeling that both of our fanbases may be disappointed once the Mitchell report is revealed. Hopefully not however.

His career is over1 Too bad the Grand Jury couldn't have handed this down before he broke the record.

That's very funny about the Leavenworth baseball team, Beth. Bonds is now legally, as well as officially, a joke. The guy took steroids. Bye-bye, Hall of Fame. Bye-bye. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I actually smiled when I heard about this. I smiled. This on top of Alex coming back....just made my week.

And like you said, his chances of getting into the HOF just plummeted like the barometer on the Titanic. Most baseball writers won't vote him in now. And that's the way it should be. If Rose ain't in, neither is he.

This is the best news I've heard in a while. The only thing that can make this better is his baseball winding up in the HOF with a nice big asterisk branded on it. Oh, and obviously a conviction.

Finally! If he weren't so arrogant and pig headed, I could summon up some shred of sympathy; it really is a shame though - he probably would have been a great player anyway but the greed and selfishness that some athletes (see "Michael Vick")possess is revolting. Role models, my foot. Too bad this came a year too late though.
