Well, this day had to come sooner or later and with reports that the Boss has been in ill-health, I guess now is the best time to do so.  His sons Hal and Hank will now take over the day-to-day operations of the team....I only hope they have the same dogged determination that their father has and had.  I am wondering how this affects Joe Torre's position, though.  The longer this goes on, the more it looks like he'll be coming back next year or maybe they're waiting until after the playoffs are over to make any kind of announcement about it.  The article did say they'll discuss Torre next week, so we might find out soon about what's going on with him.  I just hope whatever decision is made, it's made for the good of the team.
