Congrats Colorado!!
A tad bit belated, but it's better than never. Mucho congrats go out to the Colorado Rockies for advancing to their first-ever World Series by sweeping the Diamondbacks. I think I might actually watch this World Series, because it would be nice to see the Rox win it. I usually don't watch the Series if the Yanks aren't in it because I can't bring myself to give a ****, but this year might be different. It looks like they might be playing the Cleveland Indians, who just took a 3-1 game lead over Boston in the ALCS. Yes.....you read that right. Consider my laughter suppressed for the time being. However, I'm putting money on the Rox no matter who they play.

I dont really care who wins as long as it is not the Sox. I would probably give the Indians a slight edge.
How about Manny "I act like I have never hit a homerun before" Ramirez?? I dont know if that was Manny being Manny" or if he was trying to stick it to the fans because they have been giving him a lot of grief.

I agree with the above sentiments all around - I am hoping for a Rockies/Indians Series for many reasons (I will support anyone who has flattened a Met or Yankee foe!!).
And yes, Ramirez's performance after his HR was pretty classless. I am wondering also if it was Manny being Manny or a result of the fans getting on his case - either way, he looked rather stupid.
Go Indians

I just commented on that in my recent post. Really, the act is getting old. It's time for him to grow up, if that's even mentally possible. Knowing him, he'll regress further into childhood and carry a binky and a blankie to to the plate with him next year.
