Swept by the Rockies.

Whatever.  That 9 game winning streak?  FLUKE.  This is the real Yankees team.  Ain't it pretty?  Everyone getting their underwear knotted about how we were 7.5 games back and closing in on the Red Sox should be enjoying this now.

Well at least Igawa won't don the Terminator shades, maybe at this point he should, I can't see it hurting any...

that ******! maybe igawa with his "new pictching style" (how much could a person completely change and master a new style to the point of actually being effective?) will actually be the "different" thing that jolts the lineup back to the way it was a week ago!
Good luck yankees tomorrow- look alive people!

Have you seen our guy Okajima pitch?

He isn't looking at the plate halfway through his motion and is looking at the ground at release. Everybody knows where the pitch went except him. How does he make adjustments? He could never argue with the ump because he don't know what happened. LOL

I've seen him pitch and I thought that was nuts! I'd be scared if I was batting against him, it's one thing to turn your back ala Kevin Brown (who?) but to not even look to see where his pitch went how can he be successful??

You may be on to something.
The batters must be scared to death when they see that he can't see.

35 innings, 31 Ks, 1.01 ERA

Igawa got 4 scoreless innings ... can't be all bad.

I don't care. The fact that we had to use him as the stopper tells me that we need to find a 5th starter and fast. And that doesn't mean calling one up from the minors, either. We've seen how well that's worked out for us.
