Joe Torre makes me seethe.
Yeah, let's use Proctor ANOTHER inning, when Mo is sitting his ass in the bullpen cooling his heels. Did anyone get any flashbacks to Weaver in the 12th when Proctor came out AGAIN? Better yet, let's pull Wang early, which leads to overusing the bullpen, which leads to them blowing the game. God, I can't wait until he is no longer manager. I'd take a mannequin wearing a Yankees uniform over this guy right now. Someone go rouse Stump Merrill from the gin mill he's in. I was so thrilled when Girardi turned down the O's job. It's probably going to Mattingly, but at least Girardi is still in play.

Add to that the fact that Alex tied the game, and then doubled putting the winning run at 3B and we blow it. If I'm him, I'm giving the whole team the double finger salute. He's the only reason we still have a shot at the Wild Card anymore. I'm tired of this. He's putting up MVP and Triple Crown caliber numbers and is getting shafted because the team is taking it up the pooper.

It was definitely not one of Torre's best managed games. A lot of second guessing. A lot of bad moves.
A-Rod is in the zone. It's a shame they're wasting it.

Worst loss of the year. 16 left on base, 8 in scoring position. The game to me was lost in the 7th with Bruney and Myers throwing it away. Horrible. All those hits (17), all those chances, all that beating up of Morris, and they lose? Pathetic.

I hate Mike Myers. What kind of lefty specialist gives up almost 2 baserunners an inning? LH are hitting .318 against Myers. He blew 2 in Colorado. The pen needs some serious upgrades.

This was beyond the worst loss of the season. This is the worst loss I've seen in a couple seasons. When Alex hit that HR to tie the game in the 9th, I thought we had the game. Mr. High Socks comes through again. And then he doubles to move Abreu to 3B and I was like we are FOR SURE winning this game. Mr. High Socks comes through again.
And then instead of putting ANYONE OTHER THAN PROCTOR IN THE GAME FOR THE 3RD STRAIGHT INNING, he puts Proctor in the game for the 3rd straight inning. He even had him bat so he'd HAVE to come back out. And Rocket was warming up. And Mo was sitting on his ***. I hate that **** rule about not putting your closer in a tie game on the road. If it's Mo or Proctor.....hello MARIANO.
Cashman is taking a lot of heat for this team, and rightfully so. We have a s---t bench, a s--t bullpen outside of a couple people and then there's Igawa.

I love how whenever we play Boston, Torre trots him out to get Ortiz out and he invariably gives up a hit of some kind. It's like clockwork. This team has so many problems that GOD FORBID we manage to win the WS this year, we're going to make the 2006 Cardinals look like the '27 Yankees.

that game blew! Wang wasn't completely dominant but the thing that's great about him is you never feel like you need to panic, bc he also feels like he's going to word out of trouble and things can get ok all of a sudden.
so here's my problem: WHY IS HE PULLED OUT AFTER 6+ INNINGS WHEN HE NORMALLY GOES FOR 8 OR 9?!?!@#$%%^&*?!?!
When Wang was pulled and the Giants pulled ahead with 5 runs, I thought FOR SURE they would LOSE.
Then when a-rod hit that HR to tie in 9th I thought FOR SURE, they would WIN!
Then when Torre made the decision to LET PROCTOR BAT IN THE 13TH WITH A MAN ON FIRST, I NEARLY FELL OFF MY COUCH! and then I thought FOR SURE they would LOSE!
THAT S**KED! Torre mismanaged the game for us!
