Carl gets pwned.
I didn't feel like making this an addendum to my game post, so I thought for the sake of making fun of Carl Pavano, it gets its own post. As taken from Rocket Ready for Lift-off :

"Roger Clemens' anticipated arrival was acknowledged in the asphalt ofthe players' parking lot on Friday, where workers had dutifully painted
over Carl Pavano's No. 45 and replaced it with the Rocket's No. 22."

HAHAHAHAHAHA. What a way to say, "Son, you are no longer relevant to this team in any meaningful way. Now get the #$%@ out."

This is one of my favorite posts of the year, anywhere. Nothing quite conveys the totality of good-bye like getting your parking privileges revoked. So long, Pavano, and good riddance you worthless, duplicitous excrement.

Really? Wow. I hope if we win the WS this year, that post lives up to this one. LOL

You know Jason....I don't think I fully understand how you feel about Carl. Could you elaborate a little?

Beth, few posts so apropos of this weekend's festivities at the Stadium could possibly match that one erasing, literally, the memory of Pavano--a big series sweep of Boston, a big playoff win, the World Series, sure. How fitting, though--Pavano's legacy literally being erased by the arrival of Clemens. It couldn't have been scripted any better. If only the Yankees could get that $39.95 million back...
As for my feelings, well, you know me. Talking about Pavano just makes me all soft and buttery inside. It was about the most polite way of expressing myself that I could use for that toad.
